We have opened the innovation center OKlab, which focuses on research and development in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.
The primary goal is not only to develop new technologies and implement them quickly into practice but also to support talented individuals and revolutionary ideas.
Founded in September 2024, OKlab now officially presents the first results of its work. The innovation center focuses not only on utilizing individual AI models but also emphasizes their security. To achieve this, it leverages both commercially available technologies and, most importantly, its own AI computing infrastructure.
"In line with our company’s growth strategy and our focus on international markets, it is essential to continuously invest in innovation and offer our customers the most advanced solutions that support their businesses. That is why we decided to create a space where we can connect cutting-edge technology with young, energetic people. We do not just want to respond to current trends but actively influence the future direction of development," explains Vítězslav Ciml, CEO of OKsystem, adding that the first prototypes are already being tested with the company’s existing products.
Supporting talent across generations
One of the key aspects of OKlab is its work with young talent. The center engages high school students, offering professional internships and the opportunity to continue their careers at OKsystem. A mentorship program helps young people transition into leadership roles, enabling them to combine fresh ideas with the extensive experience of senior specialists.
A Technology lab with on-premise hardware
Unlike many research centers, OKlab does not rely solely on commercial cloud services but also operates its own on-premise hardware. This ensures independence from external providers and allows for efficient AI model development in a controlled environment.
