We are pleased to announce that OKsystem has concluded a long-term cooperation agreement with Jakub Menšík, a very talented Czech tennis player.
The contract, effective until 2026, continues our several years of support for top Czech tennis and its young talents. Our involvement in this area began in 2021 by partnering with the PRECHEZA Přerov tennis club. It continued last year with the signing of a cooperation agreement with the young tennis star Linda Nosková.
Jakub Menšík made his mark at the age of 16 by making the final of the Australian Open junior competition in 2022. He is one of the world's talented under-20 players in the Next Gen project. This year, he reached the final of the ATP Grand Slam in Doha, Qatar, calmly defeating such stars as Andy Murray, Gaël Monfils, Andrey Rubljov, and Grigor Dimitrov, successfully representing the Czech Republic in the Davis Cup and permanently established himself in the top 100 tennis players in the world. "Jakub represents what we value most in OKsystem: dedication, honesty and perseverance. His efforts and successes on the court are an inspiration not only to us but to a whole generation of young athletes. We are proud to support him and watch his progress in a great tennis career. We wish Jakub good health, and we believe that his amazing sports story will continue towards excellent Grand Slam results," said Martin Procházka, Chairman of the Board of OKsystem, who, as a passionate amateur player, has a personal relationship with tennis.
By supporting players like Jakub and Linda, we want to increase public interest in Czech tennis and encourage young people towards an active lifestyle. "We believe that the cooperation with Jakub will strengthen the awareness of tennis as a sport with a global reach and will bring mutual success. We are proud to stand alongside Jakub and Linda and support them on their way to the top of world tennis," added Vítězslav Ciml, OKsystem's CEO.
Our involvement in tennis does not stop at supporting great young players. Since 2021, we have been cooperating with the PRECHEZA Přerov tennis club, and we are the general partner of the OKsystem Zlatý kanár sports award, which annually honours the best Czech tennis players.
